Ok so I go after my crappy day at work to pick up Kate and hang out with Nikki and the girls and cheryl for a bit, talking about my party on Monday.

We head out and I go out in the pouring rain to get Kate in the carseat and then get myself set and my phone starts going nuts.....only 2 find 3 urgent messages from someone who shall remain nameless, has locked there keys in they car and has no spare key. Luckily I have a set in my purse.

Now mind you I have no defrosters on my car because the heat is screwed up again, and it doesnt go into the shop till Wed, so I have to drive around with the windows open or the air conditioning on so I can see out the windows....both not possible when it is number one 39 degrees out and number 2 pouring rain.

It is horribly windy and the rain is pouring down in torrents.

Kate is ready to go home and eat.

And the moron who locked there keys in the car is over 25 minutes away from DC.

The only way to get there is to take the freeway which isnt moving at all.

I have frozen items in my car that I just picked up at the grocery store.

So I drive the normally 25 minutes trip which took 35, give the moron a set of keys to get in his car and take off for home....another 25 minutes passes by and Houdini is halfway out of her car seat, has no shoes or socks on and has thrown them who knows where in the car and im driving with the air conditioning on, so her feet are frozen.

I get home, prepare dinner, get it in the oven, get in the shower to wash my hair and get joined by Houdini, who manages to get out of the tub while im rinsing my hair. Houdini then proceeds to run around the house soaking wet yelling

"IM NAKEY" at the top of her lungs over and over again. I yell for the moron to get her back in and she decides to do it herself before he can catch her wet, slippery, nakey butt. By the time this comedy of errors is over it is time for Houdini to get in bed, I feed her and get her ready for bed. And finally sit down to eat myself.

None of the cleaning I was planning on doing tonight has gotten done and im exhausted and not going to do it now because im going to bed.

The good news is that I have 8 people confirmed coming on Monday and one outside order already....WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Well my blog is all redone and now I can start using it. I have a vendor fair coming up on the 19th and I havent gotten anything started yet for it. Ive been so busy rearranging my house and getting it together for my Lia Sophia Jewelry party I'm having on Monday the 14th. So after the party is said and done that gives me Tuesday-Friday to get it all set. This means alot of scrapping, organizing and pricing so I can have it all ready for the fair at 9am on Saturday, plus I can't forget a baked good to pass. Now just to figure out what I can bake.

ON to some more fun things...
Today I tried out my new Shear Splendor Shampoo and Conditoner by Philosophy and I absolutely love how my hair feels and smells. I used it on Kate too and hopefully we will see less tangles in her hair in the morning. I wore a pretty neutral eye today because we had visitors today at work and I didnt want to scare them off. We are back in jeans for tommorow and I think I may go for a bright and happy look for tommorow.
